On this tour you will visit 2 fine breweries located in the Bayside region. Choose to have a tasting paddle or a beer on tap. All of the breweries we have selected serve wine, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks as well, so there's something for everyone! All breweries offer food, either through food trucks or in-house kitchens to complement fine craft beer with a menu of plates to share, comfort food and fresh dishes. We will have the bikes ready for you and book the tables at the brewery. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the ride. 

• 32 Kilometers return - 5-6 Hours
• Riders must be at least 12 years old & ~150 cm tall (and be accompanied by an adult). Kids under 12 can ride as a passenger with an adult as our e-bikes are 2-person bikes (max. weight 150kg). For this tour we don't allow 2 adults per bike as this will reduce the durability of the battery.
• 1 to 1,5 Hours stop at each brewery - tables reserved for you.

• First stop is the Bad Shepherd.  From approachable and classic beer styles to more challenging and unique brews you’ll find a beer on their taps to suit all palates.  All beers are brewed on site using quality and local ingredients. • Next stop: Braeside Brewing Co. You're sure to find something you love! 12 Rotating beer taps, brewery fresh and covering a range of styles. They provide a relaxed and comfortable space to share a beverage and bite in a family-friendly atmosphere. Enjoy your fresh brews with great food: stone-fired pizzas and pub meals. • Time for some fresh air! The route provides for a pleasant and chilled cruise over the Bay Trail along the beautiful coast of Port Phillip Bay, with magnificent views along the way (50 min - 16 km). If you have enough time, make some stops along the way, highlights: Mordialloc Pier, Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary, Half Moon Bay and Red Bluff lookout (map with highlights provided).

Friday to Sunday departure at 12pm from Bay Bikes in Sandringham. Pre-book at least 1 week ahead. The breweries need to be booked at least one week in advance. 

Costs are $85 per adult rider (excluding the cost of the breweries). Riders under 18 half price.

What level of fitness is required for this tour? This tour, like our standard e-bike rental, is suitable for everyone in good physical health to participate in bicycling. Our E-bikes require less effort than a standard bike and therefore this tour is suitable for people with a low to average physical fitness level. 

Is E-bike experience required? No, if you are capable of riding a standard bike, you will be able to ride an E-bike. In fact, you might find it easier as it requires less effort. Intermediate biking experience is recommended, as the area where we will be riding can get quite busy.

What do I need to bring? 

• Wear weather appropriate and suitable clothing for bike riding.
• A water bottle (our bikes are fitted out with a drink bottle holder).
• Sunscreen & sunglasses in case of warm weather, rain jacket or poncho in case of rainy weather. 
• Camera or phone for photos.
