This tour is perfect for people who would like to see Melbourne's Iconic landmarks in a unique way. We will go to the world-famous Brighton Bathing Boxes, the bustling suburb of St. Kilda and stop at Princes Pier. Enjoy the views over the Bay, admire the beautiful architecture along Beach Road and capture the skyline of Melbourne CBD.

• 35 Kilometers return - approx. 5 Hours
• Riders must be at least 12 years old & ~150 cm tall (and be accompanied by an adult). Kids under 12 can ride as a passenger with an adult as our e-bikes are 2-person bikes (max. weight 150kg). For this tour we don't allow 2 adults per bike as this will reduce the durability of the battery.
• Child seats available for children 9 months - 4 years (<22 kg) at an additional fee of $20.

• Our first stop is at the Brighton Bathing Boxes. One of the most photographed spots of Victoria and top Melbourne sightseeing destination.
• Ride as close as you can get to the beach on the bike path along Elwood Beach. We will ride slowly to take in the views and the vibrant atmosphere on warm days. 
• Once we reach Point Ormond, we will park our bikes and walk to the top of the hill. There you will be rewarded with impressive panoramic views over Port Phillip Bay and Melbourne's skyline to the North. Another great photo spot in Melbourne.
• We will continue our journey on the Bay Trail which offers beautiful views. When we reach the St. Kilda Marina we will leave the Bay Trail for a bit to stop at a quirky cafe and pick up a coffee or tea from the St. Kilda Dispensary to enjoy in the St. Kilda Botanical Gardens. They also have a variety of cakes available. This requires a 400 m walk from the gardens, where we will park our bikes, to the cafe and back.
• With your coffee in hand, you get the opportunity to stroll through the St. Kilda Botanical Gardens. Registered with Heritage Victoria and established in the 1800s, the well-maintained gardens contain 810 mature tree specimens, seasonal displays, local indigenous plants, a giant chessboard, ornamental pond, children's playground, gazebo, glasshouses and the Eco Centre. 
• You will cycle through the popular Acland Street with its world famous cakeshops and make a quick stop at the historic amusement park: Luna Park for a photo opportunity of the iconic Mr. Moon mouth. You can also see the historic picture palace: the Palais Theatre. 
• You will continue our ride to the next Melbourne Icon: St. Kilda Pier. Park your bikes and you walk the world-famous pier. After the pier, stroll through the Catani Gardens over walking paths lined with Canary Island palms trees.
• After all these stops, you will go for a bit of longer cycle towards our next destinations. Enjoy the views of the ocean, the beautiful architecture of the houses along Beach Road and the occasional classic or sportscar cruising past. 
• The last iconic stop is the Princes Pier in Port Melbourne.
• Optional: on the way back to the shop in Sandringham you can make a lunch stop at Claw & Tail for a luxe lobster roll. 

Daily at 10am from the Bay Bikes shop in Sandringham. Pre-book at least 1 week ahead.

Costs are $125 per adult rider & $110 per rider under 18 (excludes food).

What level of fitness is required for this tour? This tour, like our standard e-bike rental, is suitable for everyone in good physical health to participate in bicycling. Our E-bikes require less effort than a standard bike and therefore this tour is suitable for people with a low to average physical fitness level. 

Is E-bike experience required? No, if you are capable of riding a standard bike, you will be able to ride an E-bike. In fact, you might find it easier as it requires less effort. Intermediate biking experience is recommended, as the area where we will be riding can get quite busy.

What do I need to bring? 

• Wear weather appropriate and suitable clothing for bike riding.
• A water bottle (our bikes are fitted out with a drink bottle holder).
• Sunscreen & sunglasses in case of warm weather, rain jacket or poncho in case of rainy weather. 
• Camera or phone for photos. Your dedicated guide will be happy taking group photos for you as well.
